The Aarogyam Cast Iron Community
If you’re new to cast iron, scroll further — you have a community here to answer some common questions.
Some of us cook daily.
Some are beginners.
Some just switched from non-stick last month.
But we all believe one thing —
good food starts with honest cookware.
Real People. Real Kitchens. Real Cast Iron.
Hi, I'm Ruchika!
I didn’t start Aarogyam to sell just cookware or cast iron furniture or cast iron railings.
I started it to start conversations about how we cook, what we eat, and how small habits quietly shape our health and the environment around us.
Cast iron became our medium. Awareness became our mission.
This is me — holding a piece of cookware that’s older than trends and wiser than shortcuts.
Cast iron doesn’t rush. And neither should good food.
Is Cast Iron Too Heavy to Use Daily?
Yes, it has weight.
And that’s exactly why it cooks evenly, lasts for decades, and doesn’t need replacing every year. If its not heavy, its probably not fully cast iron.
Once it becomes part of your kitchen, your hands adjust before your mind does.
Will my cast iron cookware rust?
Yes, if you leave it wet, to dry - It will rust.
Wash it. Wipe it. Oil it lightly. Heat it if need be.
That’s it. Place it on the stove directly after wash to skip the wiping.
Cast iron doesn’t demand perfection — just consistency.
If a pan needs explaining labels, it’s probably hiding something.
Cast iron is just pure iron.
Seasoned by you. Improved by time.
Why we show real faces?
Because cast iron is not intimidating.
People make it intimidating.
Once you use it, you’ll wonder why you waited so long.
Do you own a piece of tawa in your home that is so old, you have no memory of which generation it belongs to? If yes, then that's the power of cast iron for you.
Aarogyam is not just a product.
It’s a habit shift.
If this page answered even one question you were silently Googling —
our mission is already working.
Welcome to Aarogyam.
